The course

Camposol is the resort golf experience pared back to its honest essentials — a par-72 layout threading through the Mazarrón-coast urbanización, fairways framed by olive and almond rather than imported palm, and a routing that prioritises rhythm over heroics. The terrain rolls gently, the greens reward a confident putt rather than a perfect strike, and the design refuses to punish the visiting mid-handicapper for being a visiting mid-handicapper. This is golf for the player who wants to post a number and enjoy the post-round terrace, not the player chasing a course-record war story.

When to play

Murcia's southeast climate is among the driest in mainland Spain — 320-plus sunny days, very little rain disruption, and a winter season that plays comfortably from October through May. Summer rounds work before 10:00, after which the inland heat dominates. February through April peaks for snowbird traffic. Weekday afternoons in shoulder season typically find an open tee sheet, and the local volume is genuine without being overwhelming.

Green fee & value

Camposol pricing sits at the affordable end of the Spanish coastal market — meaningful value for a full par-72 round, particularly compared to the Costa del Sol equivalents. Twilight rates are excellent, and resort-package combinations through the surrounding urbanización accommodation make this one of the better all-in golf-week options on the Murcia coast. Multi-round cards exist and are worth asking about directly.

Access & etiquette

Casual handicap policy — visitors of all levels genuinely welcome. Dress code is standard Spanish golf without the country-club intensity: collared shirt, no denim, soft spikes encouraged. Booking advised at weekends and during the European amateur winter migration; weekday mornings often find a walk-on slot.

Getting there

Forty minutes by car from Murcia-Corvera airport (RMU), ninety from Alicante (ALC), an hour from Almería (LEI). The Mazarrón coastline is fifteen minutes away — pair the round with <a href="https://playascerca.com/en/region/murcia/" rel="noopener">Bolnuevo's wind-sculpted sandstone cliffs and the Playa de Mazarrón beaches</a> for the off-course half of the day. The course works particularly well combined with the Murcia inland courses (Lo Romero, La Peraleja) for a multi-day southeast Spain itinerary that stays well away from Costa del Sol pricing.
